E. Murray Peacemaking recipients honored |

At
the Fall 2004 Synod meeting, the Andrew
E. Murray Peacemaking Awards were
bestowed on six deserving ministries. The award recipients
were recognized at the Synod Peacemaking dinner and each
received a certificate and $200.00. This year's speaker
was the Rev. Dr. Thomas Niccolls, retired chaplain and professor
of religious studies at Hiram College, Hiram, OH.
Annually
one peacemaking endeavor (ministry, activity, or project)
is nominated from each presbytery that exemplifies the peacemaking
which Christ calls each of us to do. Honored recipients
for 2004 were:
