The Synod of the Trinity expresses their sadness on receiving the news of the death of the Rev. Frank R. Gordon, 88, on
Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in Malvern, PA. He was a man dedicated to the service of His Lord.
Active on the Synod level, Frank served energetically on many committees and as a Commissioner on the Social Racial Justice Unit, Chair of Nominating Committee, and most recently, as a member of the Committee on Representation. In addition to serving numerous churches throughout the country, the Rev. Gordon had been an interim pastor at the Germantown Community Presbyterian Church and served as a moderator of session and served as interim pastor at the Yeadon Presbyterian Church for the past 2 years.
Rev. Gordon is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Crabb Gordon of Malvern, a daughter, Sandra Hamilton, wife of Samuel C. Hamilton of Manchester, CT; one son, Lee David Gordon, husband of Teko, of Honolulu, Hawaii; two granddaughters and one great grandson.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:30 am at the Yeadon Presbyterian Church, Holly and Bailey Road, Yeadon, PA. The Kappa Burial Service was held prior to the service. Interment was at the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
