Executive Presbyters/Spouse Retreat Held

The Annual Executive Presbyters and Spouse Retreat was held September 5-7, 2003

at the Lakeview Resort near Morgantown, West Virginia. 

The focus of the 2003 retreat was on building relationships.  Ed and Ev Gehres provided leadership for the retreat.  Saturday afternoon's relationship building moved to the golf course, Coopers Rocks Overlook, and other area attractions.  Saturday night, the participants "honored" Carolyn Jones, departing Interim Associate Executive, and Jim Cushman, departing Interim Synod Executive, with a roast of gag gifts, commentary, and stories.  In addition, the two were each presented with the gift of a beautifully engraved clock as a thanks for their service to the Synod.
