Scholarships
and Grants Awarded for 2004
The
Synod of the Trinity is pleased to announce that over $130,000
of scholarships were awarded to undergraduate students for
the 2004-2005 college year and $24,000 of funds and grants
were awarded to graduate students pursing ministerial and/or
full-time church-related vocations. 279 students
were approved to receive our 3 undergraduate scholarships:
The Synod of the Trinity, Racial Ethnic, or the Rusch-Shepard
educational scholarships. 12 students received the
post-graduate Mary Meade Maxwell Fund or the Mary L. Clark
Grant.
The
Synod is proud to be a part of each these students' educational
life and goals. If you know of a high school senior,
current college student, or post-graduate student, please
encourage them to investigate and apply for our scholarships
for the 2005-2006 school year. Applications and guidelines
will be available on October 1st either online,
