Donegal Presbytery offers Survivor 2006

For the third consecutive year, Donegal Presbytery will offer the only Presbyterian camp of its kind in the nation - a camp dedicated to celebrating diversity!  This camp is intentionally racially and culturally mixed so that campers will learn about each other in new ways that will help them make new friends across racial and cultural barriers.

This year's camp, "Survivor 2006" held at Camp Donegal, will run from July 9-14 and is available to middle school youngsters ages 12-14 who would benefit from this program.  Questions presented to campers for discussions include:  "Who is my neighbor?" "What is prejudice?" and "What does it mean to trust others?" The camp gives youth from a range of cultures a change to form friendships and experience a community in which diversity is cause for celebration and not conflict.
