Scholarships and Grants Awarded for 2004

The Synod of the Trinity is pleased to announce that scholarships totaling over $130,000 were awarded to undergraduate students for the 2004-2005 college year and $24,000 of funds and grants were awarded to graduate students pursuing ministerial and/or full-time church-related vocations.  279 students were approved to receive our 3 undergraduate scholarships: The Synod of the Trinity, Racial Ethnic, or the Rusch-Shepard educational scholarships.  12 students received the post-graduate Mary Meade Maxwell Fund or the Mary L. Clark Grant.

The Synod is proud to be a part of each these students' educational life and goals.  If you know of a high school senior, current college student, or post-graduate student (entering the ministry), please encourage each to investigate and apply for our scholarships for the 2005-2006 school year.  Undergraduate applications, graduate applications, and guidelines are available under Programs & Services or by calling our Synod office (800-242-0534, ext. 233) or by emailing Marcia Humer, Resource Support (mhumer@syntrinity.org).  The student must be attending college full-time and summer courses are not covered by our scholarships.  Deadline is April 30, 2005 for both undergraduate and graduate awards.  Apply now!
