Trinity Youth Conference is a weeklong event for high school youth (who are at least 15 and have completed 9th grade) and college age young adults. TYC focuses on spiritual and leadership development, discipleship, and evangelism through daily worship, small group activites and through various workshops with topics based on the theme, "One Thing...Make it Stick" from Philippians 3:12-14.
The aspect of TYC that makes it unique is that it is planned by a different group of youth and young adults each year. This group of high school and college students help to plan and coordinate everything during the conference, from the theme to the workshop topics. These same individuals assume various leadership roles during the event, and work side-by-side with the adult staff in teaching the Christian faith.
Nine workshops will be offered at TYC 2007 with topics including: Theological basics, leadership, ethics/morals, transitions, spiritual disciplines, call/discernment, evangelism, relationships, and expressive arts. Click on workshops on TYC's website for complete details. |
