Defining
Synod Mission Networks
Following
is the description of a "Synod Mission Network"
that was approved at the February 20, 2004 Synod of the
Trinity meeting in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
A
network is a group of people who connect with one another
in a variety of ways in order to share information, services
and help one another accomplish tasks and activities related
to an area of common interest, commitment and passion.
Anyone
in the Synod can form a Network with anyone and at any time.
Networks may be very informal and do not need to be Synod
Mission Networks to be faithful, fruitful groups of disciples
for Jesus Christ.
A
Network becomes a Synod Mission Network when two or more
Presbyteries recommend the network to Synod and Synod acts
to recognize the Network. A Synod Mission Network is a group
of people within the Synod of the Trinity who connect with
one another in a variety of ways to share information, services
