Nominations requested for the
Andrew E. Murray Peacemaking Award 2006
Deadline is July 1, 2006
Again this year, the Peacemaking Ministries Network is inviting presbyteries to think about the different ministries and projects in their area and submit a nominee for the annual Andrew E. Murray Peacemaking Award. Recipients are recognized and honored and receive a framed certificate and a $500 cash award.
Some of the past recipients have been anti-bullying programs, soup kitchens, ministry homeless, a truck-stop ministry to truckers, an editor of a presbytery peacemaking newsletter, and a children's peacemaking art project.
If you know of a group, church, person, ministry, project, or program within the bounds of your presbytery that exemplifies the peacemaking Christ calls us to do, please contact your presbytery or its peacemaking group and ask them to nominate it for this year's award.
Look around you. There is a program or person in ministry to others in your presbytery who is deserving of this award.
